Please consider selling/giving away your clams and corals before subjecting them to death by angelfish. I'm trying not to get upset by the fact that you seem so nonchalant about sacrificing live animals so that you can have a new pretty fish :(

PC, i think this is the suggestion you were looking for; have you though about another FOWLR? no threat to the clam, corals or possibly the CUC. a little bit of a pricy solution but, come on, you know u wanna!

Surely someone would take them....if i was closer i would rather than see anything deliberately subjected to something it shouldn't be. I don't think that would be very responsible.

What would happen to the lemonpeel if it didn't work out?
Is there a plan for that possibility?

Definitely don't do it. I built and 850 gallon reef in a children's hospital. It was gorgeous. My partners wanted to put a emporator angel in it. I said, "No, it's not risky....it's VERY RISKY". I found out that after I left that company, my former partners went ahead and put the angel in there. It killed $3500 worth of corals and a 20" T. gigas clam in a little over a week. Idiots.

What you should do is transfer your corals/clam to the 20, have that as a nano reef, then have a FOWLR in the 46. You could move your puffer over too and maybe keep the clown/wrasses in the 20.

It was. It was fully viewable on 3 sides and on the 4th side, it was viewable with the exception of 2 foot of blockage. It was visible in the lobby, the visitors lounge, the visitors eating area, and the children's indoor playground.

C'mon you guys - Lots of people on this forum have angels and dwarf angels in their reefs, and no one complains to them about it. It's a risk. Yes. And I'm sure if the angel starts harming any of the corals or the clam, Tracy will remove them to keep them safe.

I have a pygmy angel in my reef, and he doesn't bother anything. So it's not necessarily going to kill any of her livestock. People ask all the time on this forum about putting a dwarf angel in their reef and people are generally supportive.

First of all, nobody is "attacking" anybody and since I'm the only one who used the word "nonchalant", I assume that you're talking directly to me. If you re-read some of Tracy's posts, she definitely comes off as being ok with a fish killing her clams and corals.

Everybody has different opinions. Disagreeing with somebody in a mature, calm manner does not constitute an attack. This is the internet. Expect people to not always see things your way.

    Kacy,

Here's my experience with lemonpeels, half-blacks, and flame angels. They'll often be fine. Maybe even for a couple of years. Then one day they'll get curious (or whatever their motivation is) and take a nip of a coral or a clam. Then, bar the door Kacy because they are not going to stop.
