    Hey All,
I'm Having some issues with my Damsel, not only is he aggressive toward smaller fish but he likes to stir up the substrate and the sand goes everywhere, the sand is making a big mess and is damaging some of my corals. I really want to catch him and find him a new home. i have a 80g reef with 100 lbs of live rock so i cant really tear the rockscape down to catch him. I've looked up ways to catch a fish but i was wondering if anyone had any good ideas or ways that you've cought fish out of your own system. any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you .

If it were that easy he would already be cought, it's sketchy with the net, hides in the rockwork, I'm looking for ideas on catching him.

You could set a trap. There is a DIY on you tube I saw and it works. You might want to check that out. Trying to catch a damsel is like trying to catch a crackhead.

You'll need a trap bated with some food and a lot of time spent waiting to spring the trap...

I think he's worse, ever since he got big, he started picking on the little ones and i really started to hate him, he's a real ******. I just want him gone.

JMO, damsels are like ex's, they are cute in the beginning and when they get older they are a pita.

I have a YT damsel and everytime I'm trying to catch another fish with the inverted bottle method, my damsel is in the trap within minutes. I've caught him maybe 8 times, he always is the first in the trap. I used an empty Juicy Juice bottle as it has a bigger spout than a normal 2-liter (so you don't have to cut the spout) & bastered some brine shrimp in or put a piece of raw shrimp, worked great.

Here's a link to the super easy to make trap: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/fish_trap.php

Attached is the type of bottle I used with most success, best of luck!
