Hello there 3reef, i was considering to buy one of the following: Lemon Peel or Flam angle. I was told the neither one is reef safe, yet i see that some poeple have them in there reef tank. I have been also told the Coral Beauty is not reef safe, but i havent had a proble (knock on wood). Any coments on this one?

    Thank you , Danny

well...i dont believe any dwarf angels are "reef safe" its really just luck, my friend had one in his 100 gal reef and it never did a thing, but i have heard some bad stories...one more thing is that if u get a fire angel it should be the last fish u add, this is because it is an aggressive little bugger :)

Bruce is right, Some are perfect little angels, while others nip and pick at everything

I have had a lemon peel that was very good in a softy tank but I'm just one and it was just one angel

I had an angel. It never gave me a lick of trouble.

danny, i know i am a little late on this thread but from the best of my understanding you shouldnt have 2 dwarf angels in the same tank. you might have trouble between a flame angel and your coral beauty.

Did you end up getting the flame angel? My choice would've a Mimic Lemon Peel.

I had the same issue as Fastlife. I wanted the Flame Angel, but chose the Lemonpeel mainly since it was $25 vs. $50 for the flame. The Lemonpeel has been shy if anyone is moving in the room, but has been a voracious algae eater when the house is quiet. I've only had it for a week, though.
