Length vs Width

    Well for aquascapes im thinking a cove or 2 island formation. As for the tanks, im thinking 55 gallon because its just gonna be viewable from like 3 sides, while the back side is just the back side lol

    Paint the back black, it hides marks and the cables, etc.

    The cove aquascape could probably benefit from a larger foot print. The two island could work just as well in a long or wide tank.

    Another thing to consider is the size of lights needed for a 55 compared to a breeder. The 55 is 48" AFAIK and the breeder is 36".

    I was never a fan of black backgrounds or blue, I think the next tank I get will have a grey background like mist.

    You will definitely need to post a picture of that. It seems to be a quite interesting look in my mind. What shade are you thinking?

    i was thinking black or blue, but grey sounds interesting too
