    Just some purely esthetic comments:

    - It doesn't look like the large piece in the front right is supporting anything. It also looks like it's closing over what could be a cool cave area.

    - The flat piece you've got on top is perfect for a cantilevered shelf.

    Recommendation:

    - Can you move the large piece to the top and set it on top of the flat piece which you could have hanging off the left side? You can use some epoxy to help secure the whole thing.

    This would give you a little depth in the front and a cool hanging shelf in the back. It would also give you a little more height to the scape.
