I have been debating on whether to add a new pair of clown fish to my 125 Gallon tank, or get rid of my pair and add two pair at the same time.

With this in mind, I would like to ask the community here at 3reef for some help. I would like to see anyone that has multiple clowns in the same tank!

Please post a picture, the tank dimensions, the species of clowns, and the interaction (if any) between them.

I currently just have a pair of misbar oscellaris clowns that I am trying to get to host in a RBTA(at least that is what I was told it was). You can definitely tell that one is a female and the other a male, although they have yet to lay eggs (possibly due to age) but they are always attached to the hip! Does anyone know of any species that might get along, or are less aggressive?

*in the picture the female is in the forefront, the male in the background, and both are at the verge of the nem tentacles, staring into the abyss :D!

they look young yet to have eggs... however, in a 125 you may be okay with another pair but some aggression is very likely. It all depends on the personality of each individual clown

At about what age will I begin to see the clowns mate? They have been in my system for about 6 months now, and am unsure how old they were at the LFS. One is surely a female due to the large size, and the other a male due the the small size.

Same here, I think they would look cool with a black one in the mix. I have the 72 BF also, and a pair of false perculas in there now. I think a black one would make a really cool trio....

I hear about compatability alot with Clowns but in my 180G I actually have housed a Maroon and a Clarki for over two years and they never even look at each other. The first year I had them in a 65G FOWLR. Just FYI.

I have 2 tank raised b/w ocellaris (male/female) and a pink skunk clown. They never bother each other. They're in a FO 65gal tank.
