Perhaps he meant the pink streaked wrasse? A shy wrasse at first but once it becomes use to it's surrounding has quite the personality and won't become aggressive like a six line wrasse would. A great addition and a great looking fish!

Yep. Guess I should have put pygmy. He's a great lil fish, a lil shy but great personality when he wants to show.

He is indeed. Can't wait to get him out of the 20 and put him in the 90. By far my favorite fish and like you said he isn't at all aggressive. If you were looking for a slimline wrasse replacement I advise theses guys.

If you notice, I said the scientific name in my post. I was trying to make the point that "common names" are not always common, and instead can make things confusing ;) I guess I failed though

But yes, I agree that they are wonderful little fish. I have never kept one myself, but will likely soon.

It was actually a pain to even find one and it was by luck that I found him. Originally I was looking for was Wetmorella albofasciata (white banded possum wrasse) but had no luck. Then a lfs told me they didn't have the white but the pink streak. So looked it up and drove my happy butt 30 mins to the store.

[IMG][/IMG] Another update in a long while. Had a bit of work had tk do and get ready for my wedding so yea. Tank is up and cycling finally but no lights due to the fact of them getting "lost" in the mail somehow. Its about 4 weeks so I dont know. Anyways I do have a small problem now. Whne I got it running and all I had the skimmer running and it just starts spewing out bubbles. At first it overflowed but I figured it take it a lil to adjust and it but now this is whats going on. Also just an the pic with the rocks.

Csnt get the pics up from mobile so ill do it in a sec. Its not a big concern at this moment but later it will and I worry about it causing air build up under sand and rocks.

so yea it's been doing this for a couple of days. i read it could be the salinity but, it's right at where it needs. its just pushing out bubbles from the intake around the pump and from the air intake pipe. could i just silicone these areas or should i look into doing something else.
