Had 2 clowns for about 2 weeks now, been very hungry and active.
Woke up today and they are swimming slowly and not eating anything. any ideas on what could be the problem? Is this unusual for clowns

Have you done anything new to your setup? New equipment? Maybe a water change?

They were lazy all day. Just added a new water circulation pump after the old one broke. Did a water change a week ago, doing one today.

Tank is a 36 gal. temp is at 78.7

clowns can act strange sometimes, but how old is your system?

can you test for ammonia and nitrate?

When mine did this exact behavior there was stray voltage in the tank. Can you test with a voltmeter for alternating volts..Put red lead in water and black lead to a good ground. It happened right after adding powerheads as well. just a thought. As well as checking basic water parameters and looking for signs of disease.
