    Going back to the forties now.....Not rock.....but the precurser to. This tune has been played by 20 piece jazz bands since it was performed by The Glenn Miller Orchestra. One of the first albums I ever owned was The Best of Glenn Miller. I got to play lead on this tune in ninth grade (trumpet). The last note is a D above high C. In the ninth grade, I could hit it...but just barely. It was the top of my range then. Love this tune......
