so should i level the tank and stand out before filling the tank? I was thinking that i should fill it up and than check to see if it levels out more. My setup is on carpet so, i think once its full it will level out a bit. I could just fill it up let it sit for a day or so. Than drain it and level it out properly if needed.
Plus i was thinking this would be a good way to rinse out the sump/tank before filling it with ro/di water?
    Any thoughts?:-/

I have mine sitting on carpet too, and it is starting to show inclination towards one end of the tank. Meaning if on the right side I have 1 inch between rim and water, on the left side I have 1.25" instead.
When it's on carpet, the thing is tricky. I would set things up, and slowly add water and take a look or measure with a tape measure for level difference. I hate carpet, I wish I had hardwood or something you can work with, instead.

ok. cool. Do you think it would be ok to use tap water for the pre-fill? I am just going to drain it anyway, and was also thinking of puttin my base rock in the tank so it could be rinsed also.
