Jsut got a questions for some of you LED experts.
On the current market, there are many brands of LED chips (CREE/Bridgelux etc)
After some reaserch I actually found a lot more companies that are making "good" LEDs but wondering why we never saw any one/company mentioned these brands for their aquarium fixtures.

    From US:
CREE, Bridgelux , Lumileds and Semileds.

    From Japan:
    Nichia and Toshiba

    From Taiwan :
EPISTAR , EPILEDs , EVERLIGHT and Genesis Photonics

    From Germany:

    OSRAM.

These are few of the companies that make good quality LEDs and from some of the documents showing the best LEDs are comming from Nichia and CREE. We see CREE every day but why is it no one ever tried Nichia LED for their aquarium?
I saw every once a while some companies using EPISTAR for a cheaper solution and also I saw OSRAM is being used for AI Vega's red/orange chips.
We also know about bridgelux but what about other options from the rest of those US companies?

The reason why no one use them is it because they don't make the proper light spectrum for aquarium?

I hope someone have a bit more info on this, I am just try to see the reason behinde the selection of the brand of LED for our aquarium light fixtures
