Life....it does not make sence

well guys, i have not been on here lately because my sisters husband was rushed to the hospital... he has been having complications with his heart since his heart transplant... all this guy does is sit at home smoking pot, ciggarettes, and drinking.......constantly. the doc said a few years ago when he recieved it that if he quit all the b/s he could live another 10 to 15 years, but now they keep saying another few months would be a miracle.... i just dont get it. my poor sister is 10 weeks pregnant and does not need this much stress right now, sorry guys but i am not going to be on much, im sure he will pull through, this happens about every 6-8 months or so and he allways makes it out on some stroke of luck :-/

To be very honest, Im hoping the best for your sister and the unborn child. Sounds like your brother-in-law knows what hes doing and knows very well the consequences of his actions. My prayers are with your sister and child. The title should more like, "Humans.......they dont make any sense" Luna

 

Prayers sent to your family. Back in February I almost lost my life when in an accident. My wife was a few months pregnant and I think the will to live is there ESPECIALLY when you know there is a new life that will soon come into this world. He sounds like he's a strong person and I'm sure he knows that he's got to fight to enjoy that new baby. Good luck!

 

Who knows....this might be a "wake up call" for him. 10 weeks means that they just recently found out and it can be hard to change overnight.

thanks guys, i know what you mean Luna, and the fact of the matter is hes been like this for the past 2+ years, i hate to say it but ive been telling her to divorce him for quite some time, my whole family does not like him that much, but in all honesty i think she is staying with him for the amount of disability he gets, and after he passes she will get that amount for...i think 10 years or something. i hope it works out but who knows....

 

My prayers for your sister, I have an small idea of what she is going throuh as my neighbors husband had a transplant--he was not eating, etc for about a year. Then one morning we had to get an ambulance for him. She was going thought hell.
