    ok, got a icecap 660, just finished the hood, about to order endcaps, standoffs, reflectors and bulbs. 55 gal. what bulbs? Im going to try to keep a bunch of acropora, birds, and some softies.. Im assuming I should be allright, with 4 - 48" bulbs..

    If its a standard 55 it might be to deep to run 4 bulbs over acros unless you keep them all high in the tank. What are the tank dimensions?

    length is 48, width is 12, depth is 21 from bulbs to sand. I plan on keeping the acroporas from 17-18" away from the bulbs at the furtherest distance. should work right?
