light crapped out

hello everybody got an emergency,well not really.I had a Power compact light and crapeed out on me this morning.not sure whats wrong but they dont work any more and smell like they got real hot.the problem is i just got a bunch of zoas and a few mushrooms,now i have to use my old T8 set up until i can get new lights.Will these grow and be alright under these lights.,Thanks JOE

how deep is the tank
How many and what wattage are the T8s?

I kept softies that grew and looked great under 4 x 40 watt T8s many years ago

its a standard 29 gallon and i think they are 18 watts of pure power.i have two 10,000k and an atinic ithinks thats a 420 atinic.thanks JOE

Then IMO - the 2 species you mentioned will be OK under those lights for a couple of weeks or a bit longer until you get new lights (end of the month?)
