    Hey all,

I'm currently running 2-250w 14k M/H with 2-110w VHO Super Actinics over a 75gal. I was looking for an ideal distance to hang them from the top of the tank. Temperature is not a problem, as I've got a chiller running on the tank, and while estimates are welcome, I'm hoping to get a relatively finite distance that would be optimal for an sps tank.

Also, any suggestions on a light schedule would be excellent, all are on timers, and currently are set to run the M/H 6 hours a day, and the Actinics 12 hours a day.

    Thanks so much!

Hi Grotto, what type of reflectors do you have over the MH lamps?

My 250 watt 14 K Halides are in 20 inch square Lumenmax type reflectors and sit 12 inches off the water surface

I currently run mine for 10 hours per day, with supplemental blue LED for 12 hours each day
