light for sump/fuge

    im getting ready to start my sump build with refugium. i have this fixture that houses 3 24inch T5's that im not using. i dont have any stats on the fixture i was just trying to save some money.(im not using it because i have plenty of light in my display. would it be ok over my sump.

    pic. its the one right in the middle.

    oh yeah i have 2 geismann pure actinic bulbs and 1 geismann 10'000K bulb

    If it fits, why not? You wouldnt need any actinics thou, just one daylight bulb.

    just use the one 10'000K bulb, or should i go buy 1 or 2 more bulbs.

    All you would need is just one bulb. IMO

    6700k daylights will work best. you would only really need one but the more light the faster the growth.

    unless the macro reaches the point of photosaturation. I use a single hd cf floodlight over my fuge and my stuff grows like there's no tomorrow.
