light green algae or lichen

    Here is another picture of the stuff I am trying to ID. Its the light/pale green stuff. Its only about 1/8" long stems.

    the green looks like hair algae to me the little white things not sure i have em on my live rocks too the dont seem to hurt anything so i leave them alone

    I had the same stuff. it only grew in the shade. It didn't seem to bother anything though and just went away eventually.
