I have a reef tank with 6 fishes. I have a lot LPS,SPS softies couple clams, Zoas, Mushrooms all varieties. For last 4 years I use 150w10.000K MH and 4 T5 54w 420 nand 460nm.All Current brand. I'd like to change now. I think it is maybe too yellow and I want better bulbs. So I asked you about good T5 brand and also look on internet. So it looks like ATI is way to go. So I want to buy Phoenix 150w, 14.000K MH and 4 54w T5 by ATI.But ATI makes " Aquablue", "Blue Plues", "True Actinic". Do you guys have any expierience with them? Wich way should I go? Not too yellow not too blue...;) I'd like colors to pop:confused: Thanks.

Thanks for advice. Can you suggest how should I put them. Mean like from front to back. I know it is a matter of taste, but how would you do it? Thanks.

I would put a Blue Plus and Purple plus in front and the other Blue Plus and Actinic in the back. I would put the Blue Pluses on the outside edges, too.

So maybe instead Phoenix 14.000 I should stick with what I have 10.000 Current. What you guys think?. I do not want to go from too white to too blue Please let me know.

i just did a thread showing how blue the phoenix bulb is. i dont have any other lights over my tank but the halide.
i really liked the look of the radium bulb i purchased but my ballast would not run it. (it flickered, than just started shutting down) the bulb and my ballast were not compatible. so im at a point do i buy a new ballast or another pheonix bulb ~ which i find to blue.

maybe others will have a opinion on another bulb that works well with atinics. im sorry i cant help you with that since i dont have atinics. and on my last tank i ran t5's no halide. all i can say is if you like the bluer look phoenix is the bulb.

My Current 10.000K is too white. That is why I want something more blue and better quality too. I just not know if I change T5s to ATI 2 Blue Plus, Actinic and Purple Plus maybe this set up will be too blue? I guess I will see...
