Light time

    I am a noob to reef and just need a general idea for how long i keep lights on mdt and refugium. I will have timers on the fixtures. I would like to have the fuge light on at night and of coarse the mdt on during the day.

    4 t5's 2 white 2 blue on mdt and 2 ultra daylight t5 for refug.

    I would recommend keeping lights on for 8-10 hours daily. Then have your 'fuge lighting run while tank lights are off.
