    Okay I got my lights from buildyouraquarium.com and wrote them the other day and asked what to clean th ereflectors with? He said windex? haha The left the reflectors dull any ideas while the lights are down...I am getting a wet cloth and washin th ewindex off....What could I use to shine the reflectors they said the are the german reflectors if that tells ya anything....

    I used windex on mine and it worked fine. I have a Tel T-5 setup. It was shiny as new no dullness. I use some watersoaked papertowels to break up the salt, then a windex pass, then a dry fresh towel pass.

    IMHO I do not think wrapping your reflector in aluminum foil will help at all. Most likely making it worse. I would like to know if anyone else has any tricks about cleaning the reflectors cause I just got a splash shield and my reflectors are kind of dirty so I would like to clean them first.

    vinegar and water has to be the best at cleaning glass..
