So I need to decide what i should get. I have two options:

    1. Current USA $500
    2 x 250 MH
    4x 54 actinic T5HO
    9x led moons lights

    2. Coralife $340
    2x 175 MH
    4x 65 pcs
    4? leds moons

My delemia is this: i want to keep some sps (nothing crazy) my tank is 24 deep std 90gal. obviously the currrent usa is more powerful.... but i am wondering if the coralife would be fine.

    Anyone?
both are used btw with 6 month bulbs.

175W would be enough for low to medium light requiring SPS corals. Probably not for blues.

250W would grow anything you wanted, at any level you wanted.

T-5s are definitely a better way to go. Just my Opinion.

If you want to keep sps I would go with the 250 w current fixture.

ok sounds like the 250 would be the better way to go.
