I recently asked what people would suggest and got a couple different answers . So let me do this .

I have a corlife compact floresent fixture I've had for years I plan to run that with a 50/50 build . But I know that is not enough lighting for some types of corals so ..... After looking into prices and such I've decided to supplement. More light with a par38 build that a couple people have suggested . My question is now I'm curious as to how well they work . Is there anyone out there who is currently running par38 or par38 led,s over they're tank that could show me how well theyre tank is going . .

Anothr question. Have is . I have a solid piece of glass over my tank it's actually a piece from a large section I once have on my 55 gal set up . Do i need to be worried about that piece of glass obscuring the light going into the tank . Obvious the glass is clear I'm just concerned afoot like moisture build up blocking the rays of light .

    As always I appreciate everyone's input .

What size tank are you lighting and what types of corals would you like to keep.

I assume you have a canopy? Have you though of modding your 4 bulb fixture and putting it in the canopy (with ATI Blue plus/Coral Plus bulbs)? Maybe keep the 5th bulb and make it an actinic for color.

Oh, well yeah, a Par38 bulb would be nice over that.
