You probly have a center brace.. so two 30" hood/light fixture combos will work..

well I used my stock lighting I had with my freshwater for my first saltwater fish only tank... fish dont need good lights.. you can use the ones that came with the tank or the ones u see at petco etc.. but you need to decide now what you really want. bright lights are nice even without corals, but you'll need to pay more for them..

look for flourecent T8 or T12 bulb fixtures for strickly fish only.

T5H0 fixtures for coral down the road, or just bright lights for fish only..

why dont you look for some items, and post links here.. and we'll tell you yes or no.. :)

either in black or wood grain. need 2 of them. 30" units.. thats the cheapest standard fish tank light your going to get. grows nothing but fine for fish only. make sure to measure your openings..

This tank sounds exactly like mine. Do you happen to know what brand it is? I run a current nova extreme pro 48 in T5 and have an anemone, two crocea clams, a squasmosa clam, and a ton of SPS and LPS that are showing awesome growth.

all i know is that its an all glass tank with an overflow in the back left corner. im just trying to see what lights would light the tank well and have the option for being able to grow corals at some point
