    Hi guys,

I'm in the process of setting up another tank and I'm a little stumped on my lighting; the main issue being the 30" width. Will the current batch of mainstream LED suppliers (Ecotech, AI, Mazzarra, etc) units be able to cover that 30" width appropriately? It seems like 24" spread is what I typically see on all the charts which has me a little concerned. Am I over thinking it?

Do you think 3 AI Sols or "Phoenix" would work or do I need more? Any recommendations on number of units for individual manufacturers you guys can make would be greatly appreciated. I have no real affinity of one brand over another so let me know what you guys would put over your tank. Budget for lighting is $1500-2K and will be SPS dominate.

4 Sols will be fine. Just run them perpendicular.

Yes; you'll need to orient your fixtures (whatever you choose) in a front-to-back fashion in order to get sufficient coverage.

    Something along the lines of:
