lighting for 55 gallon

    well were can i have a clam and some sps coral in a 55 gallon tank with 4t-5HO?

    at the top most likely if you get a nice 4 bulb with some ati or giesman bulbs with good reflectors. For 109 you aren't probably getting to much good things though. I'm setting up a 56 gallon and I'm going for a 6 bulb (all ati, and a uvl 75.25) and tek reflectors. The bulbs and reflectors alone are costing me 240. Don't skimp on quality lights, they are hands down the most important thing in a reef tank.

    can you go wrong with MH? i found a 2x250 MH with moonlights for 200

    i have a 3 bulb vho retro fit backed by leds and thats a killer system over my 55gal

    icecap everything in it. the 660 ballast and 3 of the icecap leds strips and 3 vho bulbs 1 white and one 454 blue

    the leds just add that beautiful blue and have added alittle more pep in growth i added those slowly over time
