    Hi guys.

I recently upgrading to a 30 gallon tank from a 20 gallon tank. The dimensions are 36x12x16.

I had a coralife T5 on the previous 20 gallon, and was thinking about upgrading to this:

Coralife Aqualight Dual Lamp High Output Fixture

I dont know anything about lights. Would this be a good choice? Could I possibly get away with something a little cheaper. Any reccomendations or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

for a FOWLR ,your only real concern is your viewing pleasure, so a 2 lamp T5 fixture like that would be ideal IMO

1 X 10K lamp or above and 1 x actinic should give you a nice blue tint to the tank
and you then have the 1 hour start to day with just actinic and the one hour end to the day with actinic , running the white lamp 10 hours and the actinic for a total of 12
