Lighting for a 55g tank?

    if you want to do it right the first time and have no limits on what types of coral you want to grow. I would recommend 6x54w 48" t5 bulbs. this will give you maximum coverage for that size tank. probly looking around 300-400 for that. ATI blue + or UVL actinics are good choses for dawn/dusk bulbs. 10k-14k for your daylights. ATi, giessman, UVL are top choices among most reefers.

    48'' T5 HO Aquarium hood 4x54W 3 CORDS AND MOON LIGHTS

    Search that on ebay and thats my exact light. I bought it as a "get by light" but its been such a great one im still using it. I'd recommend it. A x6 would be better than a x4 light though.
