I want to add some hard corals and anenome's to my tank. It's 72 gallons. Will these lights be nutritive enough?

48 inch Current USA Nova Extreme 8x54W T5HO with 4 Lunar Lights (48in Units )

I am very new to lighting and want the right gear before I add any corals or anenome's.

This systems has the right wattage it seems and I like the fact it has timers and lunar lighting. Thanks.

Alot of ppl have T-5 lighting and have corals, however, there will be some corals that you will not be able to have that only MH will work. Do more research on which corals you want to have and find out what are their lighting needs. IMO, you cant go wrong with MH.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look into that.

I'm thinking I want the combo setup with MH, actinics and lunar lighting. Not sure what a good price is for a 48" hood though. They seem really high. $700 +

We have that very light setup. They are great lights. Like Lunatik stated, investigate what you want to keep and then go from there...Good luck...8)

That has everything I want except the timers, but those are a cheap fix when you have individual cords. Thanks for the link. The price on these seems uber reasonable also.! Outstanding. I just my get this one.

    Thanks again!

I have a 65 gallon setup running the CURRENT USA SUNDIAL series of T5s and lunars. Marine Depot has a larger size of this for your tank. Two timers are built in on the back, Ballast is in the top, fan runs very quiet , NO HEAT AT ALL , and the lunars come on by themselves. Timer intervals are 15 minutes , which is great.. Price is very affordable
