lighting for corals

    Still new to saltwater, Which kind of corals can i have
    I have a130 watt compact flourscent
    65 watt acyntic blue
    65 watt 12000 k daylight
    28 gal. bowfront

    your pretty close to 5 watts per gal i have a 40 gal w/2 96 pc and i have frogspawn ,hammer ,bubble, galaxia and a lot of shrooms and polyps 4 pieces of leathers all doing well just remember bad things happen quick good things take a little time

    ollies advice is very true, you can pretty much keep anything but sps, always look up a coral before you buy it though

    You can look at my signature and see what I have kept under PCs. I run about 4W/gal right now on a 90g tank. As mentioned above, softies and some LPS. I have had to take back only one coral because it did not agree with PCs. That was a flower pot. Xenia has not thrived in my tank either. Tweaky coral. I am not sure if it was my husbandry or my lighting. But I have had all Xenia die on me.
