How much lighting does LR require? If it needs lights how long should I run per day and what is the minimum? I would like to put some in my sump but do not want to invest in more lighting if I can help it.

    Thanks,
    Jay

well you're in luck then..because it needs none! all the good bacteria on it doesn't mind being in the dark..if you were to have lights on it you would just have algae to worry about

Nope..coralline requires light..but since it's in your sump..it doesn't really matter as i don't think it really has any benefits other than looking good
