My tank is about 18 inches deep. I am borrowing my dads 250 watt metal halide right now and i am saving up for a 150 watt metal halide. I would like to keep sps and maybe a clam. that is about 5.2 watts per gallon. could i keep clams, sps, lps, and softies. i really want a variety of everything. will this be enough light to keep whatever i want?

I think 150w should be plenty for a 29g. You should be able to keep just about anything, I think.

careful with 250w your going to fry your corals lol, even 150 is like at maximum range you should go for with 29 gallon. Dont do 250, if you have corals in there, thats dangerous in my opinion
