Hey everyone i recently got a 135 gallon corner tank (diamond shape) and was wanting some corals....but i dont know what lighting to use. all i want is a toadstool , mushrooms, and lots of green star polyps ( i love the slight sway and look of like grass) and maybe some xenia. I was wanting to know how much light i would need ..problem .there is only like 3-4 inches under the hood and i cant make a new one beacause of it wont match base ( acrylic stand and hood ) heres is a pic, thanks for anyy advice.

I kept leathers, shrooms, star polyps under pc's in my 72 bow. I now run T5s and would recommend them over the PC's now. I would go with the T5s so you would be able to have more options in the future JMO

Another vote for a quality T5 retro setup. If you can do a quick paint sketch up of the interior dimensions of the canopy we could get a better idea of what would fit in there. I would lose those glass or acrylic covers for a better gas exchange and more light penetration.
