    If that's the case, I'm guessing you're not even supposed to be talking to strangers in a forum... :p

    Online is cheaper than brick and mortar retail, most always. 2nd hand is cheaper, such as Craigslist, but that would likely not be approved of either...haha

    look up odyssea lighting they r pretty cheap for what u get and they r t5 lighting. the have sale sometime for smaller tanks .

    I'm not a little kid and i am allowed to purchase from craigslist and now i am seriously considering LEDs will one par 30 light my tank? my tank is 2' long 1' tall and 1' wide.:confused:

    You're confusing....you previously said you're not allowed to "buy and sell" online.

    .....moving on, considering how directional LEDs tend to be, I'm betting you'd want at least 2 fixtures for a length of 2 feet... depending on what you wanna grow correlates to the amount light required...

    So, I'm gonna say a single par 30 isn't enough. But, others may disagree... :p
