    Hello all, i just wanted to know if anyone knew how strong of lights i would need for my tank, now i have pc's 4 bulbs each 65w i have clams and acros that seem to do fine but if i can add anything to make the colors look brighter i would like to... thanks all

    For acros and clams if halides are not an option I would upgrade to a 4x110 watt VHO combo or a 4x96 powercompact kit.

    a 55 gallon tank is only what 18" tall? A set of vho bulbs and ballast would light it up nicely. 2 3' actinics and 2 3' 10000k day bulbs would make it shine shine shine.
    What you have right now is fine for LPS and Mushrooms. It really depends on what you want? And more important what you can afford to spend :D
