I have a 37G Eclipse that needs adequate lighting for corals. I do not want to be limited by lighting if possible but need to balance cost. Can anyone suggest a particular fixture for this tank. Dimensions are 30Lx12Wx22D. What wattage should be sufficent? Would a 24" MH/T5 work?
    Thanks

A 24" with a 250w MH should work fine for it. You might have some light fall off towards the ends though.

agreed that a single MH pendant with supplemental T5 actinic sounds ideal for a 30 inch tank

just 1 word of caution - if your tank has a central brace from back to front, this would be right under the halide and you might experience problems - heat issues

if no centre brace - your would be good with the fixture you suggest IMO
