How many hours do you recommend running your lights?
Do you start yours in the AM of PM?

I run 8am to 8pm. It ramps up and down over 1h each. I also have a 1h long peak around 1pm.

I usually run mine only about 8 hours, in the evening so I can enjoy the tank. I don't keep sps though.

12-14 hours a day, they come on at 12pm and I just turn them off when I'm done looking at them and ready for bed (it's in my room).

I am getting my light on Wed. of this week AI Prime i was thinking of doing the same running the light at around 11 or 12. to the late evening? My tank is still cycling though. I do have a piece of coral that is coming back so i want to get a light on it.

Did any of you used to run longer photo period, then switched to shorter one and noticed benefits?
If so, what length were you running? What did you switch to? And what changed?
    Thx.
