As some here may know, I have recently tried the new Panorama Module from Ecoxotic. I have a half canopy with a Nova extreme in it and a Glo fixture behind that. I am planning on taking out the Nova and installing 2 Modules in the canopy. Here is my query: Which 2 T5s do you think I should put in the Glo fixture? The choices are; Aquablue +
    Actinic +
and pure actinic. My first inclination is to use an Aquablue + and the Pure actinic...what do you think?

I would use two Aqua blue + bulbs, I prefer the color of actinics, but true actinics don't have much PAR.

Interesting take. I thought the tank may need some pure actinic, I will consider what you have sugested, thanks.

I agree with Guitar. The aquablue+ do have some actinic properties to them while producing very nice PAR values. IMO having dedicated actinic bulbs in addition would mean you would be cutting yourself short of some valuable par. I say 2x aquablue+ or aquablue+ and aquablue special, maybe. Good luck!

Yeah, the pure actinics are pretty weak. the actinic + are much better PAR wise, and usually they are not much less actinic.

Thanks all. Looking like Aquablue + X 2.

Yeah, I am perhaps the biggest advocate of ATI bulbs, especially since the blue+ repalced the 20,000k ati blues a few years back. I didn't mention the ATI at first because the OP said the choices were those bulbs alone, not any other bulb choices and I think he / she meant geiseman bulbs.

You cannot beat the PAR of the ati B+, not in a blue spectrum bulb.
