I can't make up my mind on what I want. I do know that I want LED though I can only afford $650 (give or take a little bit). I want LED for a couple reasons that everyone else I am sure wants them for, lower electrical costs and low/no heat. I really want to avoid T5s since I would have to replace the bulbs every 6/8 months and that would cost more in the long run.

Please help me make up a decision :)

    Thanks

High quality T5HO last a year. Check out our sponsors forums for the LED manufacturers and get suggestions from them.

I think I have narrowed it down and would like to know what you guys think.
    My choices
72 Inch 8x39 Watt AquaticLife T5 HO Light (4 lamps)
AquaticLife T5 HO 4-Lamp Light Fixtures w/ Lunar LEDs

Ocreef LEDs X 2: OCReef 3 Watt CREE Linear High Power Aquarium LED Light Fixture

    JBJ 36" Trinity 4 x 39W T5HO X2 : JBJ 36" TRINITY 4 x 39W High Output T5 Light Fixture - AquaCave

Now I am leaning towards the LEDs (reasons stated in first post) though with spending this type of cash, i want to make sure I am making a wise decision. I am worried that the LEDs may or may not be enough to grow coral.

    What is your thought?

    Thank you!

I don't think you will get enough spread with 2 of the LED units.

Get the Aquatic Life T5HO if you do. Better reflectors and better everything actually. You will want to change out the stock bulbs with higher quality bulbs after 3 to 6 months.

depending on the size of the tank you could do par 30 bulbs.

Try two BOOST LED Mu series and maybe add a par 30 lamp if you need additional coverage. I have 2 on my 60 inch tank and the coverage is phenomenal. I have seen them in action on 120's as well though not on a 125

That is something to take into consideration, I would probably need more light. But I could be wrong and it would be nice if I was.
