I have a 15" Show tank and purchased:

Coralife 20 Inch Aqualight With 1-96W 50/50 4-Tube Square Pin Base (with fans)

Is there any coral that I should stay away from? Do you feel I could have a clam (possible Anemone) with this lighting? The tank has been running for about 10 months now and has a 5.5 gallon sump.

    Thanks!

Sorry no clam, no anemone or SPS with this light (IME).

Edit- 15" high tank or 15 gallon tank? If you have 15 gallon, I'd be more worried about water quality than light for clam, anemone or SPS.

Trying to figure out how all of these nano tanks can support them???? The tank is a 15 Gallon Tall. I tried putting some Mushrooms in and most detached and found shady place in the tank to settle down in. The damn tank is so bright you need sunglasses when you go in the room, I thought I had to be able to support them :).

I do have a lot of filtration for a small tank:
    Emperor 280 Filter
Corallife Super Skimmer for a 65 gallon tank
    CPR CS90 Overflow
    30 lbs of Fiji LR
Additional 5 Gallons in the Sump

guessing it's 20x10x17? How wide are the lights?

You can probably keep it higher up in the tank (close to the light as you can reasonably.) Only issue with the 50/50 PC lights is that your color spectrum is limited. If you have a way to get par ratings, it would give you a better feel for where to put it. Shoot - people have been saying you should not keep clams, SPS and such with anything less than Metal Halide. That has pretty much gone out the door with LED and with T5HO.

What kind are you looking to get?

The 'brightness" really doesn't have much to do with what types of corals you can support. People have kept clams and sps with PC lighting. If you could get PAR rating somehow, that would be ideal, but if not, start with less light demanding corals such as lps. If you see them doing well and having good color or even start to bleach, then you can try a sps coral.
