I have a 90 gal. that has had livestock in it for one month now. My inventory is three clowns, 6 turbo snails, 10 blue leg hermits, 1 lawnmower blenny, 3 emerld crabs and 1 peppermint shrimp. I have a Nova Current t5 fixture that is 100 watts and a Sunpod 300 watt MH, the sunpod has blue and white small lunar lights. The blue lunar lights are on 24/7, the small white lights come in the morning and cut in the evening before and after the t5 to sim. the dawn/dusk effect. The t5 run during the day. NO coals yet. Do I need to run the MH?? or will the t5 do for now until I get some coals??

you can turn your mh's off , and save some money. lol. your other lights will work fine for the fish. as far as i know, the mh's are more for keeping corals.
