Lights ?? Distance from Water Surface

    I had glass between the lights and tank but have now removed them and made a glass wall between the front edge of the tank and the lights to keep my 21 month old from HELPING me feed the fish...toys, cheese sticks, cookies...if you know what I mean.:oops:
    Me and my father just purchased the wood yesterday and bottom frame already made. It will be 24" high so I can move the lights if I want. I am also installing some fans other then the ones on my lights to help keep it cool.

    Otty just think you could kill two birds with one stone getting the led lighted fans. They can cool the tank and double as moon lights if you position them on the lid. I have one large fan blowing the heat out and two small ones blowing cool air in. (no leds on the fans)

    Never thought about adding the LED fans and using the lights to add to my Lunar LED's...Good call!
