    HI,
I ordered a new 30" compact with dual flourecent fro my 37 gal tall and was amazed how much brighter it is than my 6 mos old 36 "196 watt dual compact, It has less wattage but seems alot bluer and brighter , guess its time to cycle out the 36 " bulbs, I have them already but was hoping they would last about 8 mos, my softies are thriving even the anemones are doing well.I may only change on set, and let it burn in a week or two and do the second one later. I am worried about shocking the softies with all that new power.

    Total output: 130W

    Supports: 2 x 65W CF, 2 x Double Bluemoon LED

    Fixture Size: 29.25" x 7" x 2.75"

PSPS those new aquatreader lights are a good buy they now come with three cords some with 2 fans my 36' has four fans very economical and has proven adequate for anemones and softies. alot cheeper than many of the high end compacts, thats my personal experience they have modified the power supply and the light connections its pretty much a coral life clone.

    Is that a house brand?
My friend has been looking for a 36" fixture for his 36gal bowfront planted tank that he wants to do. I told him go with PC lighting with 2 6500k bulbs.. I wonder if this fixture would suffice
