hey all just bought a new 3 footx20"x16" roughly.... and i was wondering what type of lights i should get T5, T8 or PC. a guy was going to give me two PC 36W but that was for a 2 foot tank would this still be enough to keep SPS cuz that is the main goal for my new tank....also metal halides arent really an optoin...tanks :) :)

You'll definitely want T5s. You get more PAR for SPS corals and a larger selection of bulbs, and they're cheaper and last longer than PC. T8s just aren't very efficient- you would need 6 or 8 bulbs compared to 4 T5s.

Any 36" 4-bulb T5 fixture will work, but like anything else, you get what you pay for. You'll need to look at additional features while comparing prices and decide if it's something you want/need in a light hood.
