Lime Green Coris Wrasse reappeared

I had to move my green wrasse from my 34 Solana tank to my 110 gallon because he wouldn't leave the yellow coris wrasse alone & was constantly chasing him.

After much trouble in catching him on Friday (had to remove almost all of my fiji branches & poke my hands in the sand to find where he had hidden), I got him acclimated to the new tank. He immediately hid in the sand. I hadn't seen him since putting him in the tank. I thought for sure he had hid in the sand & was so stressed that he had died.

My son texted me a while ago to let me know that he was out & was still alive swimming around obviously enjoying the new larger surroundings. I'm glad that I don't have to dig in the sand looking for a dead fish.

 

They can easily go into hiding for a week, even up to two, and still reappear.
