Limpets, solid white and multiplying?

    yes just yesterday i seen 2 and this morning i still see the 2 and about 3 tiny babys, what will these do to my tank, the larger ones are about 1/4" to 3/8" on the long side and the small one are about 1/8" or so mostly white and maybe a slight brown color on them? thanks for your ideas!!

    i have a tiny hitchhiking limpet, just one though but he just stays on the glass and is very slow moving. I think their just like your typical CUC

    having a limpet is like having a snail. they aren't all good, some keyhole limpets were linked by "the Docs" to eat SPS coral. I haven't seen any species do it, but the Docs know their stuff for sure. Most limpets are herbivores though, I think all the true limpets are at least. Did you get a chance to see the limpets form? Sometimes they settle on the glass in my aquariums, and you can actually see this little dot slowly forming a shell, and then the other limpet features...it is really cool to see it take shape.
