Dang it Tom now the secrets out that my name is not really Limpit.
BTW everyone, horkn and I are in the same reef club here in Wisconsin.

 

do you like the t5s better than mh and what made you switch?

You could have it legally changed you know

 

There are things I like about the T5's over MH and things I dislike.
My electric bill went down $20 a month after I switched to the T5's and heat is not as much of an issue with them.
I like the fact that I can tailor just the right color on the tank by different bulb combos with the T5's.
Cost to replace all those T5 bulbs once a year if higher than replacing MH bulbs.
The biggest thing I miss about the halides is the shimmer effect that they give.

 

I use a mixture of the following:
Giesemann Aquablue Plus, Actinic Plus and Pure Actinic 03
ATI Blue Plus and Aquablue Special
Korallen Zucht Fiji Purple
