line on my tang

    The white line is the caudal spine line and is white in all yellow tangs. sometimes is more pronounced than at other times, possible stress or excitement. I have noticed my yellow tang caudal line is sometimes whiter at night than during the day. I dont believe you have to be too concerened.

    My yellow tank has the same white stripe.....comes and goes. He's healthy so I don't worry about it. Kas

    Dont even bother with marine algae for grazing, it does little for them besides keep there bellies full. Use Broccolli instead. Its cheaper, a lot more nutritous, helps with coloration, and boosts there immune system.
