And from what I read you prepare the food to eye size, cause ik they digest very slow and can cause gut rot and should only be fed everyother day

I don't add selcon, as not enough reaches the fish, IMO. If you have a dry product that will absorb the liquid, that is fine, but otherwise, skip it. I pack vitamins into shrimp, silversides, guppies. I also love to dose the whole tank with vitamin C as they absorb it right into their bloodstream through their gills. Most fish diets are deficient in vitamin C.

Agreed with the eyeball size food. They found smaller food size items in the lion's stomach, when they were given a choice of sizes to ingest.

What type of vitamin c do you use. And how much do you dose and do you just dump it in or slowly add it. A link or label pic will help alot on this
Ill make sure these fish live to thier fullest life

    BRIGHTWELL VITAMIN C

I believe Renee uses this one at twice the bottle dosage when used as a tank additive. She can confirm, but I'm pretty sure that's the dosage...

Oh oops, I thought i answered that. Yes, that's the vitamin C I use. I've tested it and it's still potent.

Well tank is up but come to find out my mag 7 isn't strong enough. So after talking to DFS I am exchanging it for for a mag 12 which is 880 gph at 3-4' and my overflow is rated for 900gph. so it will hopefully be here soon and I can start the cycle and maybe Greg and renee will have thingswithstings.com done if not I maybe wait just alittle. I wana make sure I get high quality preds

Ps will have pics up later tonite

Everything looks great! I really like your choice of substrate.
