How long are these good for? Like at what point will they stop being accurate and i have to buy new ones

 

Most all have expiration dates, month and year, printed somewhere on the package.

 

Oh ok someone told me i needed a new 1 every month and that sounded a little sketchy to me

 

Check the box date. I purchased some when I first started keeping a reef tank and didn't know what I was doing and the expiration date expired shortly after purchasing. Not sure how long they were sitting on the stores shelf.

 

The API kits have a manufacture date on them. Most expire 3 years after.
