    1-Powder Blue Tang
    1-Red sea purple tang
    2-yellow tangs
1-blue Caribbean tang(only if i can catch one. They are very fast and alert)
1-small sohal tang or clown tang(I know they are large for a 180-220gal)
    1-some kind of bristletooth tang
    1-Achilles tang or Powder brown
    1-Regal tang
    1-Flame angel
1-larger angel I guess rock beauty or regal
1- school of Anthias of some kind(3)
    1-Japanes Borbonius Anthias
1-saddleback butterfly fish or copper banded
    1-pair yellowstripe maroon clowns
    1-orchid or neon dottyback
    1-red or green mandarin
    1-Longnose hawkfish
    1-neon gobies(if I can catch)
    1-some kind of shrimp goby
    1-blue dot jawfish
    1-small cuban hogfish(only if I can catch)
1-(2-3) reef safe wrasses I don't know which ones i prefer yet.
    1-red stripe hogfish
    1-school blue reed chromis

I know this is quite an extensive list, but I'm sure y'all will be able to say if there are some fish that should not be there. The one fish I will not remove is the powder blue lol. I also realize there are a lot of tangs, but they are my favorite. The only fish i would want that I did not include would be a Moorish Idol which I would only consider if I have seen it eat and if the tank is well established. Are there any unique butterflyfish that y'all would recommend for a tank with coral?

    Please list tank size.

IMO Moorish Idol's should be left in the ocean and to public aquariums. Just because one is eating when you get it does not mean you are meeting it's dietary needs nor will it eat long term.

Yes I understand they are extremely difficult that is why I left them out, but I don't believe they are not worth trying. Just part of the food chain. This would be for a 180-220 with 55 gallon refugium. The absolute largest tank would be a 250 gal.

You have about 2x more fish than you can handle.

one could argue that.... but i prefer not to make an argument ;)

as for the fish, I agree with evolved. In addition, If you want coral you would have to remove all the angel fish from your list. Also some of those ( like the hawk fish) are not invertebrate safe. Just to keep that in mind as well.
If you want many fish, you need the largest tank as possible, but even the 250 can't fit nearly all of those, but at least you would get a bigger range.

Yeah bigger=more money though. This list was intended to be a base not necessarily something I would follow. I have had multiple longnose hawkfish + flame angels and they never caused any trouble although I did have a flameback and a cherub angel that picked at coral alot.

I do know one can argue that a predator such as a Shark or Lion are above humans but i would disagree. They may have once been above us, but humans have progressed and made weapons so maybe our bodies are not above them but our minds are. I don't think anyone could not agree to this statement....end of it. back to the fish! :D
